Job Description:
A company is looking for a Group Underwriter to join their
Workforce Benefits team in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and select risk for profitable acquisition and retention
of business
Collaborate with distribution sales teams and internal partners to
meet client needs
Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations based on risk
trends
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and 1-3+ years of experience in group benefits
underwriting
Experience with core products: group life, dental, vision, and
supplemental health
Comfortable with learning and adopting new technologies
Demonstrated proficiency at the Underwriter level
Experience in a high volume, fast-paced production environment is
preferred
