Role Summary

Responsible for seamless Fronthaul and Midhaul network integration with ORAN based Radio integration. Leverage collaborative partnerships with field and customer engineers to bridge existing and recently deployed ORAN components. Streamline onboarding process, meticulously constructing Customer Information Questionnaire (CIQs) and applying a cloud-forward network configuration perspective to new site setup. Meticulously troubleshoot network flow, adhering to ORAN specifications and adhering to a network-centric approach. Proactively monitor and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) for new sites, implementing corrective actions when necessary, based on data-driven insights. Communicate clear and concise progress updates and timelines to management. When required, delve into network logs for in-depth analysis, fostering open communication and coordinated efforts with third-party network vendors. Share insight to the potential issues and contribute to effective strategies for successful project completion. Execute meticulous Acceptance test plans in coordination with the customer and Field engineer. Ensure that the deployment meets and exceed the established standards, successful validating the functionality and performance of the deployed ORAN solution.

Job Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 5 years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise/carrier grade fronthaul and mid-haul Switches, Routers, Access points and Firewalls or a Master's in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field (foreign equivalent acceptable) and 2 years of experience in enterprise/carrier grade fronthaul and mid-haul Switches, Routers, Access points and Firewalls. The experience that is required must have involved the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

  • Design and manage secure wireless networks, guiding clients through configuration and troubleshooting of authentication, SCTP & GTP-U firewalling, NAT, VPNs (IPSEC/SSL), and malware protection
  • Analyzing TCP/IP stack, SIP, H.323, and MGCP protocols.
  • Analyzing and interpreting the KPIs to gain insight in network health and user experience.
  • Experience with basic Linux administration
