Role: We are in need of 4 Field Network Consultants for a 3-6+ month opportunity located in Dallas TX. This will START in January specifically January 12th 2015. There is a potential that these consultants could be hired by our customer for the Networking team. Need to be clear that while this is a 1st shift job there will be a up to 50% of the time that afternoon and night work will occur as this is supporting a school system in and around Dallas. Travel will be around the Dallas at any point 25 miles out from the center of the city. Some tasks for this role include:Implement

- Stage, configure and burn-in equipment, including:

- Cisco 4507R switch

- Cisco 4506 switches

- Cisco 2960-S switches

- Cisco 4500-X and 3850

- Cisco 3602i wireless access points

- Cisco 3602e wireless access

- Tripp Lite SM2200RM2UNC UPS systems

- Tripp Lite SM5000XFMRXLNC UPS systems

- Execute implementation and test plan

- Configure wireless access points

- Perform a post-installation wireless site survey to validate and document wireless coverage

- Import updated school floor plans (one floor plan per floor per campus) into NCS server and place wireless access points

- Finalize deliverable documentation

Job Qualifications:

- Must be able to pass a criminal and drug test in order to qualify for the position

- Looking for 4 years experience working in the IT field

- CCNP level consultant

- CCNP Certification a big plus

- Must have a solid background with routers, hubs and switches

- Good communication skills and Responsible/Diligent work ethic
