We are currently looking for an -Operating Room X-Ray Technologist -to join our -Imaging -team. -

• 
  
• Hours are Monday - Friday -7a - 4p in the OR and Hospital Outpatient Department. - Hours could vary from time to time. -
  
• This position will participate in an on-call rotation of 4-5 shifts per month.
  
• May be eligible for Sign-On Bonus.
  
  Job Summary:
  The OR X-Ray Radiology Technologist will be responsible for setting up sterile trays and assisting the radiologists during the following procedures: myelogram, arthrogram, aspiration and steroid injection exams. The technologist will also be responsible for emergent X-rays from the ED and the In-Patient areas and any walk in, routine X-rays ordered. The North Central Imaging department is a fast paced area and the technologist must be flexible to move between multiple exams, areas and be able to manage his/her time effective and communicate well while maintaining a positive attitude.

  • Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
    
  • AART Registered in Radiology
    
  • Experience with the following equipment is desired: -C-arm (large and mini), O-arm, Portable Digital Equipment.
    
  • BLS current
    
  • Must have a current Texas state license to Texas Medical Board
    
  • 3 years of hospital experience -preferred
    
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations
