Cook Children's Health Care System is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Fort Worth, Texas.Job DescriptionThe Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in providing professional pharmacy services to patients and staff at Cook Children's Medical Center and the community they serve.Clerical tasks will include answering phones, recording, filing, and reporting pharmacy activities and services. Technical tasks will be performed after gaining experience and demonstrating necessary skills and competency.Documentation of training must be on file prior to working independently. All tasks will be performed under the direct supervision of an experienced pharmacist.The ideal candidate will be competent in pharmacy production areas, including Central PO, compounding, narcotics transactions, Omnicell refills, and compliance audits.Requirements:

• High School diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year of hands-on IV preparation experience or 1 year of working experience in the Cook Children's pharmacy
• Current PTCB Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Current Texas State Board of Pharmacy Registration
