TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Critical Care License: Active RN License Certifications: PALS, BLS Must-Have: - Two years of pediatric critical care experience - Experience with disease processes such as respiratory illnesses, sepsis, and DKA - Proficiency in managing pressure lines (CVPs, arterial lines, UAC/UVC) - Expertise in handling ventilated patients (HFOV, VDR, Servo) - Skill in administering drips (epi, nor-epi, milrinone, dopamine, precedex) - Management of complex trauma patients (EVDs, Codmans, neuro assessments) - Experience with complex pediatric postoperative patients (congenital anomalies/craniofacial, tracheostomies) Job Description: - Perform critical care management of pediatric patients in a high-acuity setting. - Undertake Foley insertions, trans-pyloric feeding tubes, dressing changes (wound and CVL), and port access. - Ensure proper documentation using the Meditech system. - Follow floating guidelines to NICU, CHSU, general pediatrics, and peds hem/onc units as required. - Adhere to the dress code with blue scrubs, neat hair, and covered body art. - Maintain professional standards with no visible piercings other than ears. - Engage in a collaborative team environment, contributing to excellent patient care and safety. - Attend work according to company-wide attendance policies. 26176410EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
