Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriting Manager responsible for
overseeing the underwriting team and ensuring loan quality and
compliance with company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain a productive coaching and learning environment
for team development
Set SMART objectives, metrics, and priorities for the team to
ensure clarity on goals
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and
implement new policies
Qualifications & Experience
Strong business acumen and deep mortgage knowledge
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and
collaboratively
Demonstrated experience in leading a successful underwriting
team
Proven success in driving process changes
Strong analytical skills to distill complex processes into
sub-processes
