Position Overview:

The Reservoir Engineering Technician will support the reservoir engineering team in the evaluation and development of its assets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

? Update and maintain PHDWin database including production, ownership, and adding new wells

? Research and investigate information to enable strategic decision-making

? Analyze technical and non-technical data to produce related reports and build working databases

? Assist in the preparation of benchmarking, production forecasting, and cost tracking and analysis

? Create and maintain technical department files, in both electronic and hard copy formats

? Organize, format, and communicate research and database information as requested

? Interact with team members and peers to reflect ongoing efforts for continuous improvement

? Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

? High School Diploma required; B.S. or Associates degree in technically related field such as math, computer science, or accounting is preferred

? 3+ years of experience in oil and gas reservoir work

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

? Working knowledge of PHDWin databases is a plus

? Proficient at extracting, manipulating, correcting, and analyzing data
